Privacy Policy and Newsletter Terms

Rusticmania is the art and sculpture business of Roger Coolbear. This page explains how I use the personal information you give me when you contact me, enquire about a commission or sign up for email updates.
Information I collect and why
If you contact me, I may receive your name, email address, telephone number and whatever details you choose to share about your enquiry. I use these to reply, discuss a possible commission and, if we work together, arrange and carry out the project. I may also need to keep records relating to completed work and payments.
If you sign up for Rusticmania updates, I collect your email address so I can send you occasional emails about my sculptures, work in progress, live carving, events and, from time to time, relevant offers. Signing up is optional. I do not add you to the newsletter simply because you have contacted me about a commission.
I use information about enquiries and commissions where it is needed to respond to your request, take steps towards an agreement or fulfil an agreement with you. I send newsletter emails to people who have chosen to receive them.
Newsletter signup and unsubscribing
I use IONOS Email Marketing to manage subscriptions and send emails. IONOS uses a service partner to provide this service. I do not sell subscriber details or give them to other businesses to use for their own marketing.
How long I keep information
I keep newsletter details while you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, I may retain the minimum information needed to record and respect that choice.
I keep enquiry and commission information only for as long as I need it to respond, carry out work and meet any record-keeping obligations. I review information and delete it when it is no longer needed.
Your choices and rights
You can contact me to ask what personal information I hold about you, request a correction or deletion, or raise a concern about how I use it. Where I rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this page
I may update this page if the way Rusticmania handles personal information changes. The date at the top will show when it was last updated.
